February 18th, 2009 Snell manufacturing will move from its current location at Boston Acoustics in Peabody, Massachusetts, to the McIntosh facility in Binghamton New York. This move is being facilitated by D&M Holdings, who owns both the Snell and McIntosh brands. D&M explained that both of these brands are high-end, hand-crafted consumer electronics, and their proximity would be harmonious and allow for both to keep their distinctive features. This move is slated to be complete by June. This past December, D&M announced that Snell North America sales and marketing would be handled by McIntosh’s Steve Mulnick. |
